My Best Friend is My Brother

For many teenagers at this age would be a time for peace and not a single care in the world. But for most teenagers this is some of the roughest years in life. I will be writing about the reason I will forever be by my best friend's side: Jared Valencia.

This story may lead some people on the right path of showing that everyone in this world has someone that cares for them. Jared Valencia and I were playing basketball at O.B. Whaley. I was beating Jared’s butt and I said to Jared “I'm gone, pull it from half.” Jared's response was “You won’t”. I made the shot and the boys got tired and went home.

A few days had passed since I last talked to Jared and out of the blue I texted Jared “Hey I need your help I’m at the park because I got kicked out of my house.” Jared responded with “For real you not playing.” I said “Nah I’m at the park and I don’t know what to do.”

Jared told Me that he could come to his house. I had nothing with me except the clothes on my back and my phone. When I was walking to Jared’s house Jared met me halfway and I told him “you know I was crying huh” he responded ya.

Jared let Me stay at his house, we had tons of fun and the only thing on Jared’s mind was making sure I was happy and not feeling sad. That’s why Jared had let Me do everything he loved like play on Jared’s ps4, he bought Damien his favorite kind of drive thru food place (McDonalds), and Jared told Me that I could sleep in his bed while he laid on the floor.

This is the reason why everyone should find a friend like Jared. Cause no matter how you feel you're not alone in this world. There will always be somebody there for you like my best friend. Thank you Jared for everything.
