Hobbies of fascination

This story is about a student at Yerba Buena named Andy Nguyen who is 17 years old, and his hobbies of trying new things , dancing , Vietnamese classes , and photography. His hobbies which he likes to pursue as well as occupy and persuade him.

Some of his other hobbies include photography [scenery] , dancing to choreographies , trying new things he’s never tried before , as well as he took a Viet class which he has passed and finished.

One of Andy’s hobbies is taking Vietnamese classes, or Viet for short , which he has taken and passed for three years: Viet 1 ,2 , and 3. He started taking Viet classes in Andrew Hill when he was 12-13 years old which cost over $100 per semester and took it from freshman to junior year for 3years.

Andy took Viet speaker for 1 , 2, and 3 in 2016 and passed classes both in Andrew Hill and in Yerba Buena.

Nguyen says , “For Andrew Hill it was every Sunday it wasn’t like an actual class to take.” Nguyen loved taking Viet classes. He believes he has improved in his ability to speak , and write better vocabulary words.

Another hobby of Andy Nguyen’s is dancing to choreographies but usually just the chorus of the dances.

Andy said he had gotten into dancing mainly because of Korean music because of how the styles of the idols dances , and which he really got into it a lot.

“ I think that dancing and choreographies are really interesting for me since there is so much internationally like ive seen different countries besides South Korea or even the U.S that people are dancing”.

Andy says it makes him really happy and feels that he’s getting exercise out of it after finishing a dance and looking at other artists or other communities in dancing.

One of Andy’s other hobbies is photography , specifically scenery and not people.

He took a photography class in 2019 [last year] , and has been interested in photography since he had his first phone.

He says “Photography makes me capture memories and I will always love to look back at them.”

Andy’s has taken many photos around Yerba Buena which include the walls , the basketball court, the union, flowers, and the tower clock.
