The story we are going to talk about today is about a young girl named Carina Rodriguez,she is 15 years old. Carina lived in san jose for a few years, before moving to Las Vegas due to bullying she experienced

I moved over to las vegas because I used to get bullied in middle school. I moved because the bullying was getting so intense that it caused me and my family to move. I didn't want to get bullied any more. The kids would bully me because of my wight

When I moved to Las Vegas it was a whole different lifestyle,new friends,new school. I loved it because the people weren't the same from San jose.

When I was going into high school “I was really scared because I was moving back to san jose and I didn't want to get bullied again”.

I was really sad because I was leaving all my friends behind and I’m leaving my favorite place. I really love las vegas because it's a really relaxing place “I'm planning in the future on moving back to las vegas and going to college in las vegas”.

Carina’s transition to her new home in san jose was really difficult. Her family and her had to stay in her aunt's house for 5 months.

“It was also definitely hard to find an apartment that my family can afford”. “Especially because we started from nothing” . I didn't start school until the next month”.

I love Las Vegas because my mom would let me go out with my friends more. Las Vegas for me “is a relaxing place and has more of a home feeling to it”.

Las Vegas is not busy because it's basically in the desert. It's only busy when it's Christmas and other events because people come a lot to the casinos. That's why Vegas is my favorite place to be at.
