The feeling of the rhythm to the music, coming to my toes, then slowly vibrating into my ears. I love dancing, it serves as a purpose of boosting up my motivation and happiness, regardless of the gloomy atmosphere surrounding me.
Moreover, especially choreographed songs - spanning from recent to older soundtracks - are uploaded through social media and the Internet. I always feel inspired by the creativity of the dance-based groups and the communities. I focus through their movements and the synchronization as well. Once I am satisfied with it, I will want to get up and dance to it.
My room is the source of comfort when I am dancing to anything I like. I wear my socks and start to warm up. I begin playing and looking at tutorials; adjusting the speed, stretching my body, or finding my positions. The privacy gave me my own confidence. I could feel the vibes from the variety of genres in the songs I picked.
There would be ups and downs, such as having difficult choreography or the song grew worse overtime. I wouldn’t be afraid because I have unlimited choices of other songs I could dance to.
The songs I picked would mostly be up-beat songs; such as R&B, electronic, dance, pop, and K-Pop; the influence of great genres blooming into my ears. When I start dancing, I feel better than ever: It creates an invisible personal bubble, and the feeling like I am levitating into the skies. It helps me express the positive possibilities and goes with the flow of the whole song, preventing myself from negative thoughts that come to mind.
After a session of embarrassing myself from dancing, I actually consider it as exercising. The physical movements stimulate my blood flow quickly, making me stay hydrated by drinking lots of water, and other health objectives.
Dancing makes me who I am as a whole. Even if I struggled with the diversity of dancing or keeping it discreet at times, I continue to proceed and dance the night away.
Be right back, it’s time for me to plug on my earbuds and blast the music on.
