Gaming, something that has always amazed me, something that has always intrigued me, and something has always kept me invested. My hobbies have never really been physically taxing I always stuck to more stationary hobbies which now has given me a significant advantage over others when it comes to having fun in ones home
As a child my life was mostly solitary because I had no parents for a while, no friends due to a language barrier, and a pessimistic and introverted life style. But when I discovered the console I knew it would bring me happiness when I saw that I could leave behind the world where I felt alone in.
The first game I remember playing was the Spiderman game for the Playstation 2 granted I never finished the game or even left the tutorial area but it was my first fond memory with games that my father had given me before our departure.
The first game I remember finishing was one called Gravity Rush 2. I Remember falling in love with the game as if it was yesterday: It was a cold day at a Target my mom had let me go to the videogame section and I begane to play at the demo when I noticed Gravity Rush 2 was available to try out. I feel in love the moment I saw the graphics, the way the game was played, the story, and the characters.
Later on there came other videogames that I loved and finished like Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Helltaker, Left 4 Dead 2, Farcry 4, and hopefully Cyberpunk 2077. All of the games I have listed have gotten me through hard times and have let get away from the sometimes harsh world.
Lastly as of writing this story it is one day before the release of the new game Cyberpunk 2077 and I feel like a child that just got told that they got a free snack from the snack bar at the mall. Another thing is that this sentence was made 5 days after the game was released and I have finished one of the Lifepath runs and the ending really made me feel like I had truely helped out the protagonist and that really got me through the day.
In the end there are to many good experiences I have had over the years that if I went through them all I would be overwhelmed with nostalgia and ramble like an old man reminiscing over his life.
