Special Voices: Gustavo and Taide

Gustavo: Haber, primera pregunta qué es quién es la persona que transformó en la persona que eres hoy como quien como tu papá, tu abuelo.

(Alright, first question is who is the person who transformed into the person you are today as who like your father, your grandfather)

Taide: Yo solo.

(Just me).

Gustavo: Ah bueno, entonces quién te enseñó algo importante que no o mi abuelo te enseño algo importante.

(So who taught you something important, did my grandfather teach you something important).

Taide: El me enseño a trabajar, a respetar a las personas.

(He taught me to work hard, and to respect people).

Gustavo: Te gusta mucho la comida y ¿por qué?

(Do you really like food and why?)

Taide: Bueno, si no come, me muero, así de simple.

(Well, you see, if I don’t eat I’ll die).

Gustavo: Okay, Siguiente pregunta la número 4 de quién agarré los pedos como cuando te echas un pedo y huele mal. Alguien, cualquier persona que tenga como pedos iguales.

(Next question number 4 is who did I inherit the farts from, like when you fart and it smells bad, maybe someone who has similar farts).

Taide: Eso depende de lo que comas, si comes carne no, pero frijoles, eso depende de lo que comas.

(That depends on what you eat, if you eat meat, no, but beans and eggs, then off. But still, it depends on what you eat).

Gustavo: Desde la juventud pudiste sacar cuadritos?

(Since little, were you able to get a six pack?)

Taide: No porque nunca fui al gym a hacer ejercicio.

(No because I never went to the gym to do exercise).

Gustavo: Qué prefieres dormir o no, yo nomas digo?

(What do you prefer, to sleep or not?)

Taide: Dormir porque el cuerpo necesita descansar, y ver la tele para ver qué está pasando en el mundo.

Gustavo: Cómo se ensucia una toalla si sales de la regadera limpio.

(How does a towel get dirty if you come out of the shower clean).

Taide: SI la dejas caer al piso, entonces si se ensucia.

(If you drop it to the ground, then it will get dirty).

Gustavo: Porqué ponen ustedes los frijoles o jalapeños en el lugar del yogurt como dónde va a el yogurt, por qué ponen los frijoles ahí. Si sabes como la tapa y ahí hay yogurt como cuando la compras, por qué ponen los frijoles ahí.

(Why do you put the beans or jalapeños in the place of the yogurt like where the yogurt goes, why do you put the beans there, why).

Taide: Para conservarlos en el freezer, y para que estén bien.

(To keep them well, and so that they are good).

Gustavo: Como aprendistes a manejar bien.

(How did you learn to drive well).

Taide: Mirando a otras personas.

(Looking at other people helped).

Gustavo: Te gustan los caballos, o no y porqué.

(Do you like horses, and if not, why).

Taide: Me gusta pero nomas verlos, pero nomás porque algunos son muy bonitos y curiosos.

(I Like them but just looking at them, some of them are beautiful and bring curiosity).

Gustavo: Qué piensas de los chismosos y chismosas.

(What do you think of taletellers).

Taide: Yo no me juntaría con ellos porque me arruinan.

(I wouldn't hang out with them because they would ruin me).

Gustavo: Qué comida te recuerda a algo bien como algo bonito, qué tipo de comida que cuando la comes te recuerda a algo.

(What type of food makes you remember something nice, what type of food brings that flashback).

Taide: Un chilito de carne lo hace.

(Chili with some steak does).

Gustavo: Cuando me gradué y me convertí en ingeniero civil, que pensaran en ese momento.

(When I graduate and become a civil engineer, what will you think in that moment).

Taide: Hay mucho que pensar, en que estamos muy contentos, felices, agradecidos con dios.

(There is a lot to think about, such as that we are very happy, and blessed with god).

Gustavo: Qué piensas de esta entrevista, es corta pero la hice rápido.

(What do you think of this interview?).

Taide: Que está muy bien todo.
