“Flow with your creative spirit” That is what comes to mind when I think of artists, whether it be for painting, drawing, or with music you always need to have your creative juices flowing. With their creativity they can really create beautiful things for the world.

Keilani Jasmin is a student at Yerba Buena High School who is very creative in the arts. They paint and sketch.

Their love for art started when they were a child. Jasmin said. “I remember when my parents handed me this giant iPad and I was amazed because you could do so much on it.. I started going on Youtube on a daily basis and I saw these people creating art and I was like ‘maybe I could do that’.”

Art tutorials started popping up on their recommendation list and they would sit there and follow along with the tutorials. Jasmin would draw and sketch on the composition notebook they would steal from their parents’ bathroom.

It is safe to say their parents gave them then they got into their room to get a sketch book under the bed push that really got them to begin her journey in the arts.

They said what keeps them inspired are “plushy designs or my friends’ art work”. They keep their creativity flowing and because of this creating art is something they truly enjoy doing and has made it their hobby as they stated here “it just started spiraling from there and I made it my own little hobby.”
