The colors and flavors you’re about to taste are out of this world. Let’s get your hand dipped in paint as we explore Anton’s life. Minh-Anton Do, a Vietnamese freshman at Yerba Buena High School, has a love for baking that cannot be competed with. Not even his love for painting can out paint the burning fire in his heart for both of his hobbies.
Painting has became a big part of Anton’s life, because of the time when he started painting.
“When I paint, I feel like I can express myself through colors,” said Do.
One reason why painting has became a big part of Anton’s life is his mom.
“My mom was the one who influenced me. I saw her painting here and there and I just started painting,” said Do.
Another thing Anton loves to do is baking. Baking became a big part of his life because of a dream.
“Me and my mom went to the mall and I went to the bathroom, and when I got out my mom wasn’t there, so I ran to my friend's house, and when I woke up I told my mom we had to bake something together,” said Do.
So when she got groceries to start baking, they made cream puffs. Ever since, Anton has been enjoying baking.

So with both baking and painting, I needed to know which one he would be: either a Painter or a Baker.
“I would be a Baker because painting is a lot to do, because I have to sit there and think about what I’m going to paint, get the canvas, mix the paint, gloss the painting, and do all this other stuff, and I’m just bored, but with baking I can throw my ingredients together and just eat it right after,” said Do.
One of the things I have noticed about Anton is his smile. I haven’t seen a day where he is never smiling, and sometimes it makes me want to smile while talking with Anton about his life; his whole expression was just bright.

How could anyone not feel Anton’s energy? I feel like he was just made from a ball of energy and excitement. Anton is like an energy drink, but Anton isn’t bad for you. His whole presence is just energy.
