Adrenaline is an amazing feeling. It can come from a scary or exciting experience you have had, when you feel the pump of adrenaline it's just a chemical activating in your brain, it feels like a rush through your body. You might even get nervous but it's part of the adrenaline rush and how you control it or use it, people can say I'm a little bit of an adrenaline junky.
A few certain things or activities that make me feel this rush are video games, music, competitive activities and working out. Physical activities are some perfect examples. I always have a compulsive desire for a rush but only here and there because wanting a rush 24/7 cant be healthy for your brain, it's a once in a while kind of thing.
I did some basic studies on adrenaline on why it happens, when it happens and why some people desire the feeling so much. Some “experts” say that “chasing adrenaline rush may take on some qualities similar to those of a drug addiction”. I really think otherwise because I'm fine and healthy but enjoy the “rush” that courses through the body.
It’s not bad to like things that make you have adrenaline, people love it. When others hear about this “adrenaline rush” they view you as crazy and question themselves “why do they enjoy that?” For the people that don’t understand you probably view things your way and don’t like the feeling in general. I also understand that it’s not a pleasant feeling for everyone.
I still remember the first time feeling adrenaline, I was racing my friends in my childhood neighborhood on our bikes and we were all racing competitively but I ended up winning and the feeling was amazing as a little kid mainly because I never felt something like it, I get why some people might not like the feeling of adrenaline and some love it.
