Everyone goes through stress, especially highschool students since they have to worry about assignments, friends and their life outside of school. Some are lucky enough to find something to relieve that stress though.
Students such as 14 year old Isabella Lemus letter girl on the YB cheerleading team. Cheering has helped her get her mind off of things and has also helped her grow her strength.
She enjoys sleeping and one of her favorite artists is Junior H.
Lemus had been wanting to join cheer since she was in middle school, she was looking forward to it since it looked fun and something she had never done before. She is barely starting but she got the hang of it very quickly.
She made lots of friends since cheer and it has gone very well so far.
Isabella: “It has been fun learning cheers and getting new friends. It's been a little stressful learning performances in time and trying to be loud enough”
I asked her about how she wants her future to go and what she would want to tell her future self and this is what she had to say
Isabella: “I want to be successful, get money and be in love." “Let go. That's because I need to learn from my mistakes and do better.”
After high school she would like to be in the medical field, but her main focus for now is cheer.
