Traveling in a car for hours and going to multiple destinations at once sounds like one hell of a journey. Right? Not for Angel Hernandez. He was on a road trip with his family to Chicago and Wisconsin at 9 years old. And turned that hell of a journey into cherished memories.
Hernandez went during the summer of 2019, and visited uncles, aunts, and his grandma. He and his family stayed at his aunt’s house and had a bonding moment together. He had a blast and did all sorts of things with his family.From the splashes at the waterpark to the afternoon bike rides with his brother and his cousins. “My favorite highlight of the trip was when we went to the iconic park in Chicago to see The Bean.” Hernandez says.
Finally, the 1 week trip to Chicago finally came to an end. And the next destination was Wisconsin! Another mini road trip where Angel spends most of his time bonding with his older brother.
Hernandez is the mini version of his brother. They both share the same hobbies and both like the same thing so it’s pretty fun when they spend time together, he says.
Hernandez spent the remaining time of his trip with his brother at a hockey game. Hernandez said, “Me and my brother went to the united center to see the Chicago Blackhawks. It was just the two of us and I had a great experience in the arena, the atmosphere was electric.”.
He finishes the amazing vacation with a bunch of memories of him with his family bonding together. This shows us that all Hernandez needs is his family’s love and presence to keep him going.
And Chicago awaits for Hernandez and his family to pay another visit!
