Something that has fascinated me since Freshman year, is the thought of our journey in life, and how people come and go. The mind, evolution, and science are things in life that interest me because of the perspective on life that I have adopted.
I believe in God and the concept that there are two Spiritual worlds, Heaven and Hell. I believe in the Son of Man and Satan. Even though I have not read the Bible, I still watch videos explaining its history. I dont know why but the thoughts about death and life are things that i find comforting and Something that intrigues me is how we are all souls kept inside a shell, keeping our souls safe so that when we pass away, our souls can travel to the afterlife unharmed. Death is something that nobody can outrun, outsmart, or prevent. No one will ever be able to know what happens after death, and in my eyes, I'm quite fond of the thoughts of what truly does happen after death. Like, do we transcend into the afterlife? Do we just not exist anymore? Or are we reincarnated?
A particular event that brought the thought into my mind was when I was in my freshman year, watching hour-long videos on philosophy and life. At one point, I came across a video on YouTube by Ear to Hear, which was called The Book of Revelation Timeline (How it ends). It was at that moment that I began to think and wonder how, through time, many Historical figures were alive and once thriving in prosperity, how other people and animals were once standing in the same spot as we are now. I like to think to myself, What have people witnessed while in their moments of dying? Have they seen Jesus Christ? What does God look like? What does Heaven look like? It has always caught my attention and has been something that has never left my mind.
Eternity is coming. There will one day be a day when there is no more pain, sorrows, or heartbreaks. For those who believe in Christianity, there will be a day when Jesus Christ will come and save everyone who believes in him, and it just amazes me how in the time of 100 years, everyone in this school will be gone, and a new generation of people will be born.
Sometimes I wish I could talk to friends and family and have conversations about what they truly love in life and what they would do to accomplish those dreams. But because I am seen as someone who messes with their friends a ton, it causes others to see that I might not be mature; however, inside, I am a mature person who likes to wonder about the world and its many beautiful attractions, the beauty of nature, and its animals of the past and today.
Hopefully, one day I will be able to have talks with people whom I can actually have a conversation about life with.
