Urian madrigal was just a little boy falling in love with the game that he was destined for greatness. Madrigal had a passion for soccer like no other grinding hard every day, at just 3 years old working on his feet and kick ups.
Growing up Madrigal had it pretty easy socializing with others and making it easy for people to like him and had a wealthy family to support him and help him grow.
Madrigal always watches his big brother play soccer but injuries occur to him. That didn't stop Madrigal, it motivated him more to try even harder and go pro.
Madrigal: “My brother because he was gonna make it pro but now I'm trying to fill that answer.”
Madrigal played for a lot of teams but his favorite memory was when he won the vegas cup. He traveled over 3 hours to play in a soccer tournament with his team and destroyed every team that came his way and came home with that trophy.
Madrigal was working out everyday after this 8th grade graduation hitting the field for hours. He did all that to become the freshmen on the varsity soccer team; it’s rare and all that hard work paid off.
Madrigal was a freshman on varsity and even was a starter for some games. His season was heated and interesting by winning closed games, maintaining the win and knowing how to be humble about it.
Through the season Madrigal made some friends that are like his second family.
Madrigal: “Yeah, I have a lot of friends. For example, I can name a lot like emmanuel marvin juan george oscar and more people that il probably know this year.”
These are the people that Madrigal can trust and enoy being around them.
Madrigal freshmen season was over with an overall record of 7-6-2, which was seven wins, six losses, and two ties. He managed to obtain a league record of 4-4-2.
Madrigal wasn't too upset but he knew he could have done better and will be prepared for sophomore season but then something tragic happened.
During the off season Madrigal was training but everytime came down with him facing this worst injury ever tearing his ACL. It was a career ending but at the same time it wasn't. I was out of the game for over 6 months and was in bed for over a month, and had to be in crutches for 3 months even after his healing was done he had to go to a special chiropractor.
Madrigal: “It was pretty hard the first month cause i couldn't really do anything, i got depression having to stay in bed for a month just had me feel way towards me like if i wasn't even good anymore? I started questioning myself like why did I want to play soccer just not being able to go out with friends just had me all lost”.
Madrigal really wanted to play his sophomore season but couldn't, which led him to fall into depression. Madrigal teams ended up winning the league and head off into the CCS playoffs but were eliminated in the first round. All Madrigal wanted for this team was to be successful and it happened.
Now madrigal is 17 in his junior year all healthy, been playing everyday playing club grinding and is prepared this upcoming season to win it all.
